Why I want to play college volleyball:
Volleyball is my greatest passion, sparked when I started playing volleyball at age 13. I aspire to be the best that I can be, to play at the highest level possible and I see College as an incredible opportunity to advance these goals while continuing my education.
I have played a range of sports from an early age but my introduction to volleyball saw it quickly become a focus for my future. I love the fast and explosive nature of volleyball and the way it allows me to harness my athleticism, and my mental strength at the same time. With the support of coaches and mentors, the comradery of my team-mates and my own competitive drive, I have worked hard to develop my game.
I enjoy the gains I have made and the volleyball it permits me to play which, in turn, reinforces my commitment to advancing my skillset, athleticism and understanding of the game further and further.
I wish to be a College student athlete as it provides an established pathway via which I may continue to challenge myself in a program aligned with my goals, among like-minded peers. To progress my volleyball to the high standard I see watching College volleyball, while continuing studying and living in another country represents an enormous opportunity for growth I would greatly value.
