Why I want to play college volleyball:
I want to play college volleyball in America because I think it as an incredible opportunity to challenge myself both athletically and personally. Experiencing the American college system would allow me to compete at a high level while being surrounded by athletes who share the same passion and commitment to volleyball. I want to push myself outside of my comfort zone, develop my skills under new coaches, experience a different style of volleyball and become a stronger, more confident player. I’m excited by the opportunity to study at an American university, meet people from different backgrounds and experience a different culture and lifestyle and make so many new friendships and relationships. I think with volleyball in Australia it’s hard to progress without gaining experience elsewhere so that’s what I’d like to do.
